Water Jet Cutting ServiceOne of the contemporary machining techniques, water jet machining is used to shape a variety of workpiece materials, from metals to plastics. In water jet machining, as the name implies, the power generated by a water jet is used to remove material from the workpiece or, on occasion, split the workpiece in half. Simple water jet machining is used for softer materials like plastics and fibres that need to be machined. Water alone, however, is unable to produce good results when dealing with tougher materials, such as metals. As a result, the water jet is combined with abrasive particles to produce the cutting action. Water jet machining with abrasives is the name of this procedure.
